How to Reach AVA

Take the Express Bus No 95 to Syntagma Square (Terminal/last stop).
When you get off the bus, walk up towards Amalias Avenue (Parliament).
Then turn to the right and walk on Amalias Avenue for approx 500m/1500 ft.
Opposite Hadrian Arch (left hand side), turn right into Lysikratous street.
The AVA Hotel is on number 9-11. It’s an approximate 10 minute walk from Syntagma Square Terminal. Airport Express Bus fare = 6 euros per person.
Take the Metro Blue Line No 3 to Syntagma Square.
Change at Syntagma and take Red line No 2 to Akropolis Station (1 stop).
Take metro exit: ‘Makrigiani / Dionissiou Aeropagitou’.
Walk towards the Dionissou Areopagitou (pedestrian road to Acropolis).
Cross straight over into Vironos Street.
After 100m/300ft you see the Lyssikrates Monument on your left hand side.
Turn right to Lyssikratous Street (at the far end you’ll see Hadrian Arch).
The AVA Hotel is on number 9-11. Approx. 3 minute walk from the station.
Airport Metro fare = 10 euros per person.
Taxis are available at the Airport.
A taxi costs around 40-60 euros depending on luggages and the time of day.
Take the Metro Green Line No1 to Omonia Square.
Change at Omonia Sq. and take Red line No2 to Akropolis Station (3 stops).
Take the metro exit: ‘Makrigiani / Dionissiou Aeropagitou’.
Walk towards the Dionissou Areopagitou (pedestrian road to Acropolis) Cross straight over into Vironos Street.
